Event Description:

This year's annual policy briefing puts the spotlight on the work MNRSA does on behalf of Minnesota's staffing industry.

Guest speakers include:

  • GovernorTim Pawlenty
  • Minnesota Speaker of the House Kurt Daudt and MNRSA lobbyist Todd Hill
  • George Ashenmacher, Christopher Larus and Katherine Barrett Wiik, the legal team representing MNRSA, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, Graco and the other co-plaintiffs in the lawsuit with the City of Minneapolis over the City's  Safe and Sick Ordinance.

In the past, MNRSA's public policy efforts were focused on state legislation and regulations.  For the past three years, our advocacy work finds us at city halls, in the courts, and with Minnesota legislators and regulators.  We continuously scan the landscape and defend the staffing industry from ordinances, regulations and laws at all levels that create barriers to our members’ business.

Membership dues alone do not cover the costs associated with these efforts. Voluntary contributions are needed.

Come to this event and hear first-hand about our work.  The event is being held in a casual, open setting to encourage interaction and frank conversation.

T
his event is a "must attend" for business owners, senior managers, and C-Suite executives in the staffing and recruiting industry.
